Chief of Staff-TravelTech

We are working with a scaling TravelTech business who are looking to hire a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Founder/CEO.
This is a critical hire for the business and you will play a key role in ensuring that the company operates at pace. You will act as a central hub for companywide communication as well as play a key role in the development and execution of key projects.
What you’ll be doing:-
- One of your biggest priorities will be making sure that the company is meeting its monthly targets by unpicking and troubleshooting high priority commercial and operational issues.
- You’ll be responsible for developing an launching key strategic initiatives supporting their expansion plans.
- You’ll keep all ares of the business aligned behind a strong vision, set of goals and clear growth metrics.
- You’ll support investor relations with interaction with the board and major stakeholders as and when needed.
- You will represent the CEO both internally and externally answering queries and deciding on best next steps.
- You will conduct day-to-day duties in the CEO’s absence eg run executive team meetings, team management etc.
What we are looking for:-
- You will have a minimum 5 years experience in a generalist role i.e Consulting, Law, Investment Banking.
- Ideally you’ve experienced scale before and are comfortable with (or at least very excited and motivated by) fast growth, fast hiring and the world of scaling a startup.
- Ideally you’ll be an ex-founder OR you’ve worked at an early stage (seed-Series A) high growth start-up.
- You are a “swiss-army-knife” and are comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with this role and the necessity to roll-up your sleeves and get stuck in.
- You are a natural hands-on people leader.
