Title: Director – Client Management

Compensation: £140k + 30% bonus (Perm or contract)

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to join the leadership team of this start-up. You will be joining a mission driven and dynamic work environment as they scale the consulting business. You will be central to that growth, shaping the culture and strategy. You’ll be an early team member of a funded startup within an established institution – an extremely rare opportunity.

You will drive and lead the strategy and ambition on engagements, helping global clients develop and implement successful subscriptions strategies that will transform their businesses, consumers experiences and the wider industry.

Your role in this team will be to lead the Consulting Engagement pillar whilst also delivering on growth ambitions and management of our key clients.

Essential experience:

  • Strategic leadership & Entrepreneurship: Ambition to set, build and lead the strategy of a growing business from the ground up. A self-starter who makes decisions quickly; is a strategic thinker but also has a strong bias to action to deliver on our goals. Excited to work with a startup with a high-growth mindset, comfortable with little structure, working independently and as part of teams.

  • Relationship building & Commercial aptitude: A strong network and proven track record with business development and key account management. Able to start, develop and manage strategically significant client relationships, including experience in originating and closing multi-million pound client engagements. Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders across levels.

  •  People Management: Experience of leading a portfolio of initiatives, as well as directing and counselling multiple teams across client, culture and growth priorities. Outstanding programme management skills, delegating work as appropriate.

  •   Consultative toolkit: Outstanding communication skills; able to craft compelling stories and insights from unstructured evidence. Strong quantitative and analytical skills including financial modelling, and ability to draw key insights from complex data. Able to coach team members on key consulting skills.
