Title: International Expansion Consultant
Day rate: £90- 120k pro rata
We are working with a Series A EdTech – UK’s leading online platform for one-to-one learning, and on a mission to improve the educational outcomes of thousands of young people.
Having cemented our market leadership position in the UK, they believe their scalable and high impact model can be applied in other markets.
We’re looking for someone to help them test and launch a B2B proposition in the US, with a view to launching a pilot in January and a full scale launch next September. The initial engagement will be for 3 months, but this will likely be extended and could turn into a full time launch manager role, which would be a role based in the US.
You will be working with the co-founder to determine initial requirements, opportunities and challenges for US market entry.
Market analysis: Research the market to help define their proposition. You will map out the competitive landscape to understand the current solutions to their customer pain points.
Project execution: Create a clear roadmap for the launch and delivery of a successful pilot
Team building: Determine the resource and operational processes required for successful delivery. Hire and onboard local support where required.
Manage performance. Set up clear metrics to measure the pilot’s success. Create a regular reporting and update process for the leadership team and overall business about progress, performance and key learnings. Generate feedback and recommendations to central operations, business, product and engineering teams.
Extensive business experience with at least some in a scale up.
