I set up JBM in 2012 after spending 2.5 years at an international recruitment firm and a year working for a Startup.

I’m an eternally optimistic headhunter, with a deep passion for connecting top talent to purpose-driven Founders and partnering with VCs. I also love spending quality time with my JBM colleagues and bringing our community together at JBM events – which are always great fun!

When I’m not networking or running searches you can find me interviewing Founders on our 40 Minute Mentor podcast, where we promote the power of mentorship, and other important topics that we’re passionate about including mental health, social mobility and DE&I.

I am still enjoying Founder life 11 years in and am proud of how far we’ve come, the quality team we have and the strong culture we’ve created. The most exciting thing for me is that we have only scratched the surface of what we can achieve…!

Outside of work I’m a doting husband to my wife Lucinda, and Dad to a 7 year-old daughter, who is our proudest achievement! I also love discovering new cuisines, am a sports fanatic (a long suffering Aston Villa football and England rugby fan) 🎤 and I used to be a wedding singer in a former life…

I’m Senior Partner and an AI, Data & Engineering search specialist. A veteran data and AI headhunter, I’ve spent the last 13 years helping hundreds of companies find the best AI talent on earth, recruiting technical leaders and specialists into some of the world’s most innovative businesses. I’m a trusted partner to founders across the UK tech landscape.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me running around south London, baking or having a kitchen disco with my husband and kids. Whatever you do, don’t ask me if I’m American.

My background is a bit of an unusual one for executive search.
I spent years on the other side, first as the Head of People & Culture inside a marketplace startup, then leading the talent function at Airtree Ventures, Australia’s top VC. That combination gives me a unique perspective and informs how I work with candidates and clients.
At JBM (part of Amplified Group), I lead our Scaleup Operator Solution (SOS) practice, placing fractional and interim executives. This model is genuinely reshaping how ambitious companies access senior leadership, and we’re at the forefront of delivering that value.

Beyond Monday to Friday:
I’m a Co-Founder of The Penida Project. We spent five years building a luxury capsule hostel in Nusa Penida, Indonesia, and opened in August 2023. It currently holds a ~9.5 rating across Booking.com and Hostel World, and we’ve proudly served thousands of guests… and tens of thousands of Bintangs.
I also manage Butterfly Capital, an angel investment syndicate. Our first portfolio exit came in 2025 when Sea Forest (ASX: SEA) listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The rest of the time: attempting to recreate basketball glory days in local men’s leagues, eating my way through Amsterdam, travelling an absurd amount (obligatory for an Aussie living in Europe), and enjoying the people, connections, and conversations that happen along the way.

I have over 15 years of experience placing some of the most sought-after GTM talent globally. I started out in recruitment for F1 racing teams, before moving in-house to set up executive search capability across a group of digital companies, and then leading commercial hiring at pre-IPO Trainline. My own entrepreneurial ambition led me to join a newly launched sub-board brand under Renovata, which we scaled to 60 people, before founding my own boutique business and joining JBM in 2026.

I partner with ambitious Investors, Founders and management teams to place leaders who enable growth, drive transformation and create lasting competitive advantage.

I’m JBM’s resident Zimbabwean and self-appointed food guide.

After studying Politics in the States I moved back home and sort of fell into recruitment. I joined JBM shortly after moving to London and have been here for nearly 5 years, currently working on the Experienced Hire team and specialising in Strategy & Ops roles.

I love getting to meet and speak to so many talented people doing such amazing things, both on the candidate and client side and I’m so proud to be part of a business that’s genuinely doing something different.

Outside of JBM, I’m a health and wellness coach and psychotherapist in training.

I joined JBM in 2023 as an Associate in the Executive Search team, after having begun my talent career working on CXO succession and leadership advisory projects with some of the world’s biggest consumer and financial organisations.

I came to the world of search initially via an academic interest in talent assessment (discovered through a master’s degree in psychology), combined with a passion for matching the perfect candidate with the perfect role – I love finding opportunities to make connections between outstanding talent and visionary Founders.

Prior to joining the industry I had a varied career across the arts that began in my teens, including as a corporate events manager for awards hosts and after-dinner speakers, a theatre producer, a casting assistant, and (very briefly) a stand-up comedian…Outside of work, you can usually find me planning my next adventure abroad, running through the leafier parts of London, or hunting down the city’s best sushi. 

I spent several years at a boutique executive search firm focused on the digital and technology space. I worked with a broad mix of clients, from high-growth early-stage start-ups to large corporates, helping scale-ups find the talent to grow and established businesses bring in the entrepreneurial leadership they needed to transform. My work spanned Digital, Technology and Multichannel leadership across all major functions.

Before executive search, I studied Psychology at the University of Cambridge and spent time working with autistic children and young adults at a specialist school. That experience has stayed with me, and it’s shaped the way I build relationships and communicate.

I’m a Senior Associate in JBM’s SOS team, which supports early-stage and scaling businesses with key interim and fractional hires.

Before joining JBM, I worked at several boutique search firms, focusing on non-executive and C-suite appointments across a range of sectors, primarily Higher Education, Real Estate and Charities. Prior to that, I spent six years teaching English as a foreign language in China, and I speak Mandarin to a high level.

I enjoy bringing that experience into the tech ecosystem and supporting some of the most innovative and pioneering companies throughout the search lifecycle.

I’m a career changer who swapped GB track athletics for AI & data recruitment, and I haven’t looked back. Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my young family, where I’m outnumbered by boys and running on caffeine and optimism. If I’ve gone quiet, I’m probably running along the River Cam for a moment of peace!

I’m an Engineering grad from Imperial College London, and I combine technical understanding with a passion for connecting people and solving problems. Originally from South Devon, I’m happiest challenging myself outdoors, and I’m currently training for one of the world’s hilliest long-distance cycle races.

I own new growth initiatives within JBM, helping drive expansion in new functions and geographies, and overall revenue growth. I started my career in management consulting with Bain & Company across Madrid and London, then moved to Worldpay ahead of their IPO to run go-to-market initiatives, followed by startup leadership roles (COO and MD) in FinTechs and marketplaces.

For the last three years, I have been running Arenas Advisory Services, focusing on driving growth in startups. I first came across JBM as a client and was so impressed that I eventually joined!

I have an addiction to Japanese green tea.

Having worked in B2B marketing on both client and agency side, I love disrupting traditional and often seen as “dry” industries, such as recruitment.

Mentorship is the key to success, no matter what field you’re in, and I’m proud to have made business mentorship more accessible through our 40 Minute Mentor podcast.

Besides my love for marketing and podcasting, I also used to be a competitive Irish dancer, travelling all over the world competing at World Championship level….these days, dancing the Jig mostly happens on St Patrick’s Day.
