The opportunity: 

We’re looking for someone to come join our marketing and 40 Minute Mentor production team, on a fractional or part-time basis. 

We are a remote-first company, so are flexible on where you might be based. We have an office in London Bridge and our Head of Marketing, Hannah, who you’ll be reporting to, is based in Bristol, so ideally you’d be able to occasionally travel to either/both of those locations. 

What you’ll be doing: 

✏️ Assist in producing and running our 40 Minute Mentor podcast 

✏️ Execute new ideas to make the podcast even better 

✏️ Source guests for upcoming series and own the research and development of interview questions 

✏️ Day to day marketing support for 40 Minute Mentor (e.g. producing show notes, launch assets, trailers, newsletters, etc.) 

✏️ Strengthen our relationship with press and media contacts to increase exposure for 40 Minute Mentor and JBM 

✏️ Run the production of our popular CxO Secrets series (incl. COO Secrets, CoS Secrets & CMO Secrets) 

✏️ Assist in launching new content series and partnerships 

✏️ Assist shaping the overarching podcast and marketing strategy with our Head of Marketing 

What we’re looking for: 

Believe in JBM’s mission – we’re a mission-driven search firm, so a strong conviction to disrupt and change the recruitment industry is a must-have. 

Team players – we’re looking for owners, not renters and someone who is happy to collaborate cross-functionally. 

Previous marketing experience – no matter whether that’s freelance, in-house or agency. 

PR experience – not a must-have but will be an advantage. 

Strong copywriting skills for long-form and short-form marketing materials. 

A keen eye for design – you don’t need to be a trained designer but comfortable to review and feedback on designs for marketing assets. 

Ambitious & driven – we always push ourselves to do better and add more value to the ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who shares that attribute and will be comfortable to push themselves and the team out of our comfort zone.
