In episode 17 of our COO Secrets series, we are joined by Edo Omoniyi, Co-Founder and COO of Cape.

Cape is a new Financial Operating System offering businesses free access to a cash management platform that provides an intertwined pre-paid and credit card facility that’s fully integrated with all major cloud accounting software solutions to automate financial administrative tasks.

As you’ll hear in today’s instalment, Edo didn’t follow the conventional route to becoming a COO. Having spent the majority of his career as a product manager, Edo more or less stumbled into the COO role as him and his Co-Founder, Ryan, split up the key functions and responsibilities involved in growing Cape.

For more insights into why a key part of the COO’s role is accepting that you don’t know and can’t do everything and what every aspiring COO needs to know – click play on the video below.
